Mala with 108 Rudraksha seeds & brass double vajra pendant

A mala made of 108 Rudraksha seeds in a warm brown hue, whose finely textured surface gives each seed its own unique pattern. Above the counting cord sits a small Rudraksha guru bead, from which a crossed double vajra made of brass hangs as a pendant. Rudraksha seeds have been used for prayer beads in both Hinduism and Buddhism since time immemorial; the number 108 is the traditional length of a mala and accompanies the recitation of mantras. The double vajra—Tibetan dorje gyadram —traditionally symbolizes the principle of absolute stability.
