Shakyamuni Buddha statue in bronze
Small, beautifully crafted statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Gautama Buddha or Siddhartha Gautama, is the central historical figure of Buddhism and the founder of the teachings that lead to enlightenment. The name "Shakyamuni" means "sage from the Shakya clan" and refers to his origin from the royal family of the Shakya tribe. His role is to show people the path to liberation from the cycle of birth, death and rebirth (samsara). He embodies compassion, wisdom and the possibility of attaining enlightenment through one's own efforts.
The statue is made ofbronze (approx. 80% copper, 10% tin-bronze and 10% zinc) in a traditional artisan workshop in Nepal and is approx. 9 cm tall. As this is a handcrafted product, the patina and fine details of the piece supplied may differ slightly from the example shown.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
