Large Tibetan silver pendant with turquoise and coral

A round Tibetan turquoise in a rich blue with a natural dark matrix, set in a crafted silver setting with a fluted edge—at the center of the front is a repoussé silver flower with a bezeled coral cabochon in a warm orange-red hue. The reverse side features a hand-engraved lotus flower motif in silver, with each piece featuring a slightly different design. Turquoise and coral are the two classic gemstones of the Tibetan tradition; their combination with silver has been found in Tibetan malas, amulets, and ritual objects for centuries. The red coral comes from old, reused stocks—since precious coral is strictly protected today.

Handcrafted in a traditional Tibetan silver workshop in Nepal. Pairs perfectly with the silver snake necklaces from Atelier Tibet (sold separately).
