Smaller, old Tibetan butter tea bowl
This smaller, traditional, very decorative butter tea bowl comes from Tibet, probably from the 19th or early 20th century. It is made of dark grained precious wood, the inside is lined with silver. The base is also decorated with silver with a classic Tibetan pattern. The bowl has a rich patina, which has been left in its original condition. The diameter of the bowl is 9 cm, the height 5 cm.
Butter tea - called"Po Cha"in Tibet - has been drunk from such bowls for centuries. They are typically made of wood, often with metal rims or inlays made of brass or silver to make them more durable. Each bowl is unique: some simple and functional, others ornate and richly decorated - depending on origin, social status or occasion. They are not just utilitarian objects, but also carry cultural and symbolic significance. In many households, people have their own personal bowl that has been used for years.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
