Lapis lazuli is a deep blue, opaque semi-precious stone that has been prized for its beauty and spiritual properties for thousands of years. Its name comes from the Latin lapis (stone) and the Arabic lazaward (sky or blue). The stone is said to promote intuition, communication and inner peace by supporting the third eye and throat chakra. It helps to calm the mind, create harmony and ward off negative energies.
The Infinite Knot (tib. དཔལ་བེའུ་, dpal be'u) is one of the eight Tibetan symbols of good luck and stands for eternity, connectedness and the inseparable interplay of wisdom and compassion. As it has neither a beginning nor an end, it symbolizes the endless cycle of life, death and rebirth (samsara) and the ceaseless connection of all things. In Buddhist art, it is often found on ritual objects ritual objects, prayer flags or pieces of jewelrywhere it embodies protection, harmony and spiritual knowledge.
