Rosewood mala with an "Om Mani Padme Hum" pendant
A simple mala made of dark wooden beads that converge on a counting cord to form a round brass pendant. The pendant is shaped like a six-petaled flower: in the center and on the six petals, the syllables of the mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum” are inscribed in Tibetan script. This six-syllable mantra is one of the best-known in Tibetan Buddhism; it invokes Avalokiteshvara, the embodiment of compassion, known in Tibetan as Chenrezig. In Tibet and Nepal, the mantra can be found on prayer flags, carved in stone, and especially on prayer wheels. The dark beads are strung into a long necklace that can be worn in two ways.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
